Anasazi Cone 10 is a versatile, all-purpose clay known for its distinctive orange-brown to yellow firing colors. Sold in 25lb pugs, Anasazi performs exceptionally well in various kiln environments, including electric, gas, and Anagama kilns, where it showcases beautiful flashing from the flame without bloating. This clay’s vibrant hues and reliable performance make it a favorite for creating striking ceramics. However, it is important not to over-reduce, as it does not respond well to extended body reduction in a Giel Gas Kiln. For best results, manage reduction carefully to achieve optimal color and texture.
